Feb. 28th, 2019 – “It is my honor to receive a Best in Show award from the San Dieguito Art Guild at the Off Track Gallery in Encinitas, California for my photo of an Amur Leopard. Found mostly in China, there are only 84 of these highly endangered cats left in the world. Primarily poached for their beautiful coats.

The Off Track Gallery has art shows running every month and Amur Amur will be exhibited until the end of March. Please stop in. It’s a lovely gallery with many varied art mediums.

Thank you San Dieguito Art Guild for your most generous award.”

Here ye, here ye, you are cordially invited to visit my one woman photographic exhibit featuring the “Beauty of Birds” at the Carmel Valley Public Library, Nov. 17, 2018 through the holidays.

You will be able to observe the iconic plumage of the male peacock, jungle birds of Costa Rica, an Arctic gyrfalcon and many more. A portion of the proceeds will go to the FREE FLIGHT BIRD SANCTUARY in Del Mar, California.

May these colorful photos bring happiness and joy to you and your family during this holiday season.

With sincerest gratitude, Betty Byrd
